If you’ve been searching for a mule that’s gentle enough for the whole family, broke enough to impress an experienced horseman, and dependable enough to enjoy without a second thought, you need to take a serious look at Boone! Boone is a 6-year-old, 13.3-hand gelding mule with a beautiful build, a wonderful disposition, and an incredible amount of training. He’s the kind that makes you appreciate what a truly well-broke mule is supposed to be! Boone will neck rein around one-handed, back up willingly, slide to a stop, and pick up his correct leads both directions. He’s got an absolutely wonderful walk, a comfortable trot, and one of the nicest, smoothest little lopes you could ask for. He’s so comfortable you can sit and enjoy his lope BAREBACK! And speaking of bareback, BOONE RIDES BAREBACK AND BRIDLELESS! Not something you find every day, especially in a mule with this kind of quiet, trustworthy disposition. He’s also trained to LAY DOWN ON COMMAND FROM THE GROUND OR SADDLE, making mounting and dismounting a breeze! You can even crack a bullwhip right off his back without upsetting him. He’s been exposed to things that would make plenty of riding animals come unglued, and he takes it all in stride. He’s traffic safe, crosses creeks willingly, handles the trails with confidence, and is an absolute pleasure to spend the day riding. He’s not looking for something to get excited about or trying to make a job harder than it needs to be. He’s sensible, willing, and knows how to take care of his rider. On the ground, he’s every bit as good as he is under saddle. Boone handles
